ORNL High Performance Computing Infrastructure Laboratory Technician
Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is the largest US Department of Energy science and energy laboratory, conducting basic and applied research to deliver transformative solutions to compelling problems in energy, environment, and security.
The selected candidate will be a part of a team that leverages the Kubernetes orchestration tool and, as such, will require a fair amount of work in the Golang (Go) programming language. Kubernetes is built almost entirely in Go, and this position will require familiarity with Go. Tasks that may be required in this role include:
• Writing Kubernetes controllers for CRD’s (GO)
• Testing supported cluster capabilities running on Kubernetes (GO)
• Building and running applications inside of the Kubernetes cluster (GO).
Preferred
Certification in Golang (Go) computer language.

The ORNL Laboratory Technology Associate Program is administered by Oak Ridge Associated Universities through its contract with the U.S. Department of Energy to manage the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE).
