The UTK/ORNL Higher Education Research Experiences (HERE) Summer Internship Program is a 10-week, full-time internship that provides students with research projects in a variety of STEM disciplines at ORNL. Students will learn under the direction of ORNL research staff at either ORNL’s main campus, Hardin Valley campus, or ORNL research related facilities on the UT Knoxville campus. Upon the completion of the internship, students are required to submit and present a poster in the summer poster session and present their research at UT Knoxville Discovery Day in the fall. Successful applicants are placed into labs that best fit their research area of interest in one of five research divisions at ORNL:
Participants may also be considered for National Security Sciences.
Dates of program: June 3, 2019 - August 9, 2019 (selections completed by April 25, 2019)
