The following research opporunity is available with the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center, located in Postsmouth, VA. The research appointment will include, but is not limited to the following:
Assist in the creation, editing and formatting of both existing and new Navy-wide Occupational Health program assessment tools and updates to user manual. Intern will ensure that all assessment tools are in accordance with DOD and Navy regulations. Require someone with a Health Informatics background, data analysis and metric development.
Desired candidates will have completed at least a bachelor of science and possess the following experience: PDF developer, Java Script, data analysis, health informatics, experience creating fillable PDF's.U.S. Citizenship is required.
This ORISE opportunity is scheduled to be a twelve month appointment; the renewal or continuation of the research appointment is contingent upon facility approval and upon the continued availability of funds. Renewals are offered up to one year at a time, for a total of up to five years of research participation.
