  • Creating, updating, analyzing and managing very large datasets
  • Participating in advanced spatio-temporal analyses of key mortality and natality outcomes (e.g., drug overdose mortality, suicide rates, infant mortality, preterm birth rates) using hierarchical Bayesian modeling approaches
  • Contributing to the development of approaches for analyzing data, generating predicted estimates, detecting spatio-temporal outliers, conducting simulations to examine the impact of various analytic choices, etc.
  • Writing summaries of methods, results and interpretations for use in government reports and peer-reviewed articles
