The Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy (EERE) Robotics Internship Program is an opportunity for current students and recent graduates to intern with public agencies and private companies. This is a partnership between the public and private sectors to continue the development of the future robotics technical and engineering workforce. In particular, the internship program is recruiting current students and recent high school and college graduates who have experience in robotics competitions in high school or college.

The 2015 summer internship will be for 6-7 weeks in various locations across the United States.

Successful applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old by the start of the internship
• Must have prior experience in a high school or college robotics competition program
• Must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. university or community college pursuing a degree related to robotics and engineering or have completed a related degree from an accredited U.S. university or community college within the last 5 years
• If a recent high school graduate, must provide evidence of college acceptance from an accredited U.S. university or community college
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Degree: High School Diploma/GED, Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Doctoral Degree received within the last 60 month(s).
