An ORISE Fellow will be involved with data collection, analysis, and report development for HHS's Secretary's Minority AIDS Initiative (SMAIF)-funded projects with a particular focus on capturing accomplishments, lessons learned and best practices.  The Fellow will also be responsible for identifying and implementing strategies, opportunities and mechanisms for increasing the visibility and dissemination of SMAIF programs and activities (and others) designed to improve the health outcomes for MSM and transgender and youth of color who are disproportionately affected by HIV.

The Fellow will be involved in a team environment in the Office of HIV/AIDS and Infectious Disease Policy (OHAIDP), with day-to-day supervision and principal mentoring provided by the Senior Advisor for Policy (OHAIDP).
