Description

The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center's Information Technology Laboratory (ITL), located in Austin, Texas, provides experimental and computational expertise for solving water resource problems worldwide. Our research and development addresses water resource challenges in groundwater, watersheds, rivers, reservoirs, lakes, estuaries, harbors, coastal inlets and wetlands. Research programs range from design guidance to numerical models.

The intern will participate in the design, development, and evaluation of numerical models designed to simulate subsurface and free-surface flows. The participant will gain experience with hydrologic and hydrodynamic models developed in the Coastal Hydraulics Laboratory and contribute to open-source projects.
