Description

The Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) Mini-Semester provides selected students an opportunity to spend two and a half days on-site at ORNL to learn about research opportunities through the Community College Internships and Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships programs.  Students will network with scientists and researchers, attend seminars on current research projects, participate in facility tours and professional development activities.  Selected students will participate January 7-9, 2020.

Transportation and lodging will be provided for the selected applicants.

Qualifications

Students must meet the eligibility requirements for the Community College Internships or Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships Programs available at https://science.osti.gov/wdts/cci/Eligibility and https://science.osti.gov/wdts/suli/Eligibility, respectively.

 

Eligibility Requirements
  • Citizenship: LPR or U.S. Citizen
  • Degree: Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree received within the last 24 months or currently pursuing.
  • Overall GPA: 3.00
